About Greenland halibut (Rheinhardtius Hippoglossus)

Greenland halibut are bottom-dwelling fish, found at 200-2000 meters deep although they seldem stay deeper than 400 meters.

Probably the flatfish least dependent on life on the seafloor. They can reach over a meter in lenght, close to 50 kg in weight and can live to be 30 years old.
